for the Use of the Huntin UG (haftungsbeschränkt) Platform
1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to the use of the platform and services operated by Huntin UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Otterweg 3, 53773 Hennef, Germany (hereinafter "Huntin" or "we") by registered users (hereinafter "users" or "candidates") and by companies that place job offers or arrange placements through Huntin.
2. Description of Services
Huntin operates a digital platform for the placement of job offers – especially to students and young professionals.
The service includes, among others:
Filling out a questionnaire by the users
Automated matching based on preferences and qualifications
Transmission of suitable job offers (especially via WhatsApp or email)
Forwarding of applications to cooperating companies
If applicable, participation in placement bonuses within the framework of referral programs
Important: Huntin is not an employer and does not act as a recruitment agency in the sense of labor law. The selection decision and the conclusion of the contract are exclusively between the mediated company and the candidates.
3. Registration & Terms of Use
Registration is required to use the service. Users undertake to provide only truthful and complete information. The use of the platform is free of charge. There is no entitlement to placement, access to the platform, or specific functions. Huntin reserves the right to exclude users from the platform for violating these GTC or for providing false information.
4. Obligations of Users
Users undertake not to provide any false, misleading, or unlawful content. In case of changes (e.g., graduation, relocation), the information in the profile must be updated. The use of the platform may exclusively take place for the purpose of job search and placement. Access to the platform may not be transferred to third parties or shared. Content made available may not be passed on to third parties.
5. Communication via WhatsApp
By consenting to WhatsApp communication, users agree that we may contact them via this channel (e.g., with job suggestions or reminders). The use of WhatsApp is voluntary and can be revoked at any time. We point out that WhatsApp is an external service (see privacy policy).
6. Placement & Bonuses
There is no entitlement to a successful placement. Should a successful placement occur, Huntin UG i.G may receive a bonus from the mediated company. For users, a referrer bonus may be provided in the case of recommendations. This is voluntary, depends on the individual case, and is subject to the currently valid program conditions. There is no legal claim to payment unless a specific bonus commitment has been made by us.
7. Content & Availability
We endeavor to keep the service available at all times. However, continuous, uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Huntin may make changes, additions, or restrictions to the service at any time – especially for the further development of the offering.
8. Liability
Huntin is not liable for content and decisions of third parties, especially not for:
The accuracy of job advertisements provided by companies
The course and outcome of application procedures
The success or failure of an application
Contractual relationships between companies and candidates
Huntin is only liable for damages caused by gross negligence or intent. For simple negligence, Huntin is only liable for the breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations) and only within the scope of foreseeable damage.
9. Copyright
The content on the website and in Huntin's communication channels (e.g., questionnaires, texts, graphics) is protected by copyright. Reproduction, distribution, or other use is only permitted with written permission.
10. Amendments to the GTC
Huntin reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time. Registered users will be informed of significant changes in due course. If they do not object within 14 days, the new GTC will be deemed accepted.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The place of jurisdiction, to the extent legally permissible, is the registered office of Huntin. Should individual clauses of these GTC be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
